Seing as I created a 2D stop motion animation, there wasn't a lot of evidence of setting up equipment seeing as the characters and set were made of card as opposed to e.g. clay.
My set up consisted simply of a camera and a white wall with each set design blue-tacked to it:
Here are some images of my voice actor recording for my animation, he sat in the sound booth and used one of the college microphones to record his dialogue straight from the script:
These two images were taken just before I stuck the sets to the wall behind. In these images the eyes (top image, bottom left) and the stars (bottom image, bottom right) have all been blu-tacked in preparation to be stuck onto the set. I collected all the miscellaneous items and piled them up separately so they could each by found more easily:
